Heritage Lottery Funding Success   ()

In June 2016 the Parish Council (PC) submitted a Heritage Grant bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to enable it to restore and open to visitors the pele tower together with community archaeology and archive projects. We were absolutely delighted in September 2016 when the HLF awarded the PC a first round pass and has offered a Development Grant of £93,200. This will allow for the commissioning of various professionals to carry out a range of survey and planning work, together with the initial stage of the community archaeology project, in 2017.
